Assessment of salinization of soils and groundwater of the Khojaly district (Southern Aral sea region)

The article considers the solution of problem climate mitigation, improvement ecological situation Khojaly district and protection from salt dust, which is carried out by wind drained bottom Aral Sea marshes on example city its environs. To assess salinization studied territory, data engineering geological surveys necessary for design buildings structures in territory results analyses authors were used. Based research use GIS technologies, maps-schemes groundwater have been compiled. These maps can be used more effective landscaping creation forest strips around Khojaly. Maps to select type trees depending salinity soils groundwater, i.e. most saline areas it proposed create salt-resistant trees.
